What Snacks Can I Eat On The Detox and Slim Programs?
This is a common question we get asked during the ultimate herbal health programs, so I thought it deserves a page full of ideas.
The great news is, you can eat as. much as you like on our programs, as the wholefood unprocessed diet will naturally control your appetite.
Let’s start with the Herbal Detox and BodiClenz then move on to the Herbal Slim and BodiTune programs.
Snacks On The Herbal DETOX and BodiClenz
Fresh Fruit
Fresh fruit is the snack of choice while on your detox or BodiClenz program. The only fruit I suggest avoiding is banana. They can slow down your cleanse a little, so best to avoid them. In saying that, if you have only one a day in your smoothie you can get away with it.
Some of the fresh fruit recommendations include:
- Apples
- Grapefruit
- Grapes
- Lemons
- Mandarins
- Mangoes
- Oranges
- Paw Paw
- Pears
Dried Fruit
Some dried fruits are also allowed. The key thing is not to get them with added sugar, and only have a small handful of dried fruit on any given day, at the most. Some of the recommended dried fruit include:
- Apple
- Cranberries
- Dates
- Figs
- Gogi Berries
- Pears
- Pineapple
- Prunes
- Raisins
Pickles
Pickles are also allowed on the Herbal Detox and BodiClenz program, as pickles can help digestion and stabilise blood sugar and appetite. It’s best not to get the sweet variety with extra sugar added. The stronger, most bitter pickles are the best value for your detox process. Some of the suggested pickles include:
- Capers
- Capsicum (Bell peppers)
- Cucumbers
- Gherkins
- Olives
- Onions
- Sauerkraut (cabbage, carrots, beetroot, ginger, onions)
- Sundried tomatoes
Guacamole
Avocado contains an incredibly healthy fat and is great for curbing appetite. Simply blend avocado with olive oil and lime juice. Get Full Recipe Here

Snacks On the Herbal SLIM and BodiTune Programs
On the Herbal SLIM and BodiTune programs the first recommendation is to try the snacks listed above for the Herbal Detox. These options will give you the best overall benefit when following any of the Ultimate Herbal Health programs.
However, there are a couple of other snacks you can have during the Herbal SLIM and BodiTune programs.
Nuts
You can have a few nuts, as these provide a source of good fats and protein, plus they are also very rich in minerals. The key thing to remember about nuts is, they are very difficult for your body to digest and will therefore slow down your metabolism and elimination. With that in mind, it is best to keep nuts to a bare minimum.
It’s also important to avoid roasted and salted nuts and stick to raw nuts whenever possible. The suggested nuts to use as a snack are:
- Almonds
- Brazil nuts
- Cashews
- Pistachios
- Walnuts
Cacao Slice
You can sneak in a little bit of dark chocolate, like 2-4 squares of >70% cacao. However, this recipe is a great alternative because it contains dates, sunflower seeds, walnuts, and coconut, and is sweetened with honey and molasses. This makes a piece of this slice a great after-dinner or evening treat without ruining your program.
