Dear Brett, I did the 7 day preparation for the detox and then 10 days on the detox program. I have always had constipation problems since my late teens (I am 41 years old). I have been seeing naturopaths for about 10 years now and stopped last year. I have done about 6 different detoxes, non of which cleansed my bowel, mostly like liver detoxes. I finished the 10 day detox yesterday and don’t think I got rid of the plaque yet. On the 8th day I had only about 2 bowel movements, the 9th day, I had about 6 bowel movements, one which was darker but not stringy. And on the 10th day, found it quite hard to go with only one bowel movement. I am not sure now what to do. I feel better and felt good on the detox program, it was not so hard to adhere to and I enjoyed the fruit and veges and above all the smoothies. but the last few days I few like I have slightly less energy and a very slight headache, something feels strange in my head. I wonder if I should do another detox or wait for a few days to see what happens while continuing the healthy diet. Please could you advise me as what you think I should do? Thank you. Kind regards, Tracy Kikuchi PS: I am lactose intolerant and gluten free (I have been for about 4 years now) but started to take the acidophilous yogurt on this detox.
Bowel Motions During Ultimate Cleanse
Hi, Just wondering if what I experienced is “normal”. I followed the preparation diet for 7 days, then starting taking the pills on Monday. Tues and Wed saw bowel motions 3 x per day, Thursday was only 1(?), Friday was 0(?) and Saturday was 1 but sort of “forced” – even though I wasn’t feeling constipated or any discomfort. This morning so far has been 1 but was definitely more like Tues/Wed motions. Is this normal or should I be having 3 per day on a regular basis? Any suggestions or is it just a case of me perhaps needing to drink more? Thanks

Can I exercise
How long does the detox take and can I still exercise for up to 2 hours a day? Will I have the energy?

Foods while doing the detox
Hi there Bret, My friend and I decided to do the detox together to support each other, then my husband decided to do it, later another friend decided to do it too! He is 3 days behind us. We are having text support and sharing experiences throughout! I was wondering if soy milk, coconut cream/milk, and balsamic vinegar are ok to have while on the herbal detox? I’m only on the 2nd day of taking the pills (after doing more the 3 days prep diet) and for the past couple days my lower back and legs have ached. I’m assuming this is nothing to worry about too much? I looked in you frequently asked questions section and have already been having ginger tea etc… I am curious why my lower back and legs might be hurting – is this just some kind of ‘healing cirisis’? Also, when I am at work trying to do complicated tasks on excel spreadsheets and my brain goes all mushy and I find myself wondering if I am doing the task correctly, is there any food you can recommend that might help make me feel a bit more with it at work? I had this experience on day one of the elimination diet and I go back to work tomorrow. I was wondering if having some tofu or extra protein might help me stay focussed and with it at work? Sorry lots questions. Cheers Rebecca

green tea
I’ve always thought green tea was better for you and also helped to cleanse the liver. Is it OK to drink it on the 25 day plan or should I try to cut down on this too? I do not drink any other caffinated drinks and drink fruit and herbal teas on top of about 3 cups of green tea a day.
