I have had my gallbladder removed around 7 years ago, would it be safe to use this Detox?
Herbal Detox runs Oct 29
Hi Brett, I'm on Day 3 of your detox and I find I have a bad case of the runs. My stools are water consistency. Yesterday they were half watery/ half loose. I've done your detox three times before (I aim to do it every 12 months) and I don't recall this happening before. I'm taking the full 40 caps/ day and am eating only fruit, veges, soup, yoghurt (with a Tbsp of LSAP) and a lightly boiled egg once or twice a day to keep my protein up (Naturopath at Harvest recommended keeping proteins up to avoid fatigue. I've never managed more than 5 days in the past because I become tired and light headed but I find this time my energy is better and hope to go the full 10 days). I'm planning to cut it down to 3tabs per bottle am and pm as perhaps it's too much? My usual diet is pretty healthy (I follow the Body Ecology Diet principles – Stage 2 of diet) and my stools are usually pretty smooth, easy consistency since I started doing your cleanses and BED diet 4 years ago. Any suggestions or is this normal? Regards Adrienne

Is it safe for her to do a detox
Hi there Brett. I have successfully done my second detox and now have lost 28kgs… My sister is interested but is worried as she takes a wicked cocktail of drugs for her remotoid arthritis ( had since she was 12yrs) The drugs she is on are Naproxen, leflunomide, sulphasalazine and a weekly injection of embrel. She is currently classed as obese and I think she would benefit greatly from your detox. Tessa Hogge

Can I use balsamic vinegar with olive oil as a salad dressing on the Herbal Detox?
I can see vinegar mentioned in the hand book, but then on the shopping list its apple cider vinegar listed. Is this the only vinegar that can be used or can balsamic vinegar be used?

Are canned fruit and vegetables OK?
Whilst I understand your preference for using fresh, raw produce, I'm interested in your opinion on using canned fruit and vegetables instead (e.g. peaches, plums, beetroot etc)? Also, is there any way to see all the previous Q&A from these questions; I can see two recent ones on your home page but would be interested to read through some more if they lived in a FAQ section or something.

Doing the ultimate detox in 7 days, instead of 14..
Can I do the Ultimate detox in 7 days? I have done the detox once before, opting for the 14 day intensive program, and it was great! I want to do it again, however as an athlete competing weekly – I do not have the 14 days off (required if doing the 14 day program) to commit to this program. I was thinking I might be able to ramp it up by doing the 3-days of preparation followed by 7 days of taking the pills. Will this be ok? And if so, should I just follow the 14 day diet plan (for 7 days) or will that need to be adjusted too? Regards,
